After earning a B.A. in social sciences from the University of Arizona, Austin worked as a director of real estate for a private equity firm, managing a $118 million portfolio of 250 properties and successfully increasing the portfolio by 50%. He oversaw a range of real estate scenarios, including property preservation, renovations, and flips. Austin purchased his first multi family investment properties at age 25, spent two years working for Houzz, the home remodeling and design website, and now purchased and is managing an out of state Airbnb.
